Our Mission

We created The EmpowHERment Project to promote the empowerment, equal recognition and mentorship of the professional hair industry’s talented women — both behind and in front of the chair. 

We host regional events and foster conversation on social media to create a supportive, collaborative and action-driven community. It is our mission to bridge the gap – regardless of age, gender, skill, role, brand or location.

Upcoming Events

We held our first Council Meeting on International Women’s Day (March 8) in Miami, continuing the conversation and making plans for the future. 

We’ll host our first Coterie (annual gathering) in September 2017 and look forward to promoting our industry’s female leaders and mentors on social and stage platforms.
